For the third year, Egyptian Board of REALTORS® members donated $3,400 to Southern Illinois Coalition for the Homeless, to purchase Christmas gifts for the children of families in the program.
The non-profit organization covers the 24 southernmost counties in Illinois. S.I.C.H has 34 families in the program, many of them are homeless. The families are working with S.I.C.H. to improve their housing situation and often do not have the extra money to purchase gifts for their children. The funds will go to provide a Full Stocking for the children in the program, picked out by their parents.
Egyptian Board of REALTORS® raised a majority of the funds through raffles at its membership meetings.
S.I.C.H will take each family shopping to purchase gifts for their children with the funds donated by E.B.O.R.
