EBOR PROVIDES CHRISTMAS FUNDING FOR KIDS IN S.I.C.H. PROGRAM

Egyptian Board of REALTORS® (EBOR) has donated $4,000 to Southern Illinois Coalition for the Homeless (S.I.C.H.) to help bring Christmas to children of families in need.

COVID has put a financial strain on many southern Illinois families forcing many into homelessness.

According to S.I.C.H Director Camille Dorris, there has been an uptick in homelessness.

S.I.C.H works with families, in the 24 most southern Illinois counties, many which are homeless to improve their housing situation. The number of families in the program have increased.

The funds donated by EBOR will go to bring Christmas cheer to 38 children of families in the program. S.I.C.H case managers will take the parents in the program shopping, using the donated funds, to pick out gifts for their children to open on Christmas.

This is the sixth year EBOR has donated to the program.
